Calligraphy

Calligraphy is the ‘Art’ of beautiful writing.
There are many things that can be written with a special calligraphic style for a special someone in your life. Invitations for a multitude of occasions, poetry for your one true love, a special verse of inspiration to be framed and hung on your wall for future reference. Anything that is written can be made more special with calligraphy.
Below are a small example of ideas.


	Whenever I go back and sit on the porch looking out into the valley or out into the yard with gnarled old trees and leaning gray fence posts and hear the birds sing and smell the country smells a peace comes over me and I wonder why I ever left.




		Font Examples

I have a large variety of fonts available. I can do calligraphic art by hand or on my computer.
By hand is slightly more expensive because of the time involved and possible rewrites. It is, as with most art, more beautiful, though imperfect (no-one can match the perfection of a computer). Hand written is more personal which makes the extra cost worth while in some cases. Paper choice is yours. Parchment is good but there is a huge variety of decorative papers available now. Most of what I do is on parchment but you can choose.

I try to take just one day at a time;

But lately several days have attacked me at once!
